Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Sleepfactor (“we”, “us”) handles information in relation to this website and the Sleepfactor mobile app. We keep things clear and respect your privacy.
This website
Most of this marketing site is static: we do not ask you to log in just to read the pages.
Beta waitlist
On the home page you can join the beta waitlist. If you do, we collect:
- Email address — required so we can contact you about early access.
- Optional details — such as your name, which device you plan to use (Android or iOS), and the interests you select (for example sleep goals). These help us understand our audience.
- Marketing preference — if you tick the marketing box, we store that preference so we can send occasional product updates and tips.
We store waitlist submissions in a secure database operated by our service provider (Supabase) so we can run the beta programme and follow up when access is available. We also use Resend to manage email delivery preferences (including unsubscribe handling) for those updates. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated third‑party marketing. If you try to join with an email that is already registered, we will tell you rather than create a duplicate.
Cookies and web analytics
We use a single, strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie choice (accepted or declined). This cookie stores preference only and is not used for advertising.
We ask for your choice in the cookie banner. If you accept, we load privacy-friendly website analytics from Vercel to understand general usage (such as page views) and improve the site. If you decline, those analytics are not loaded.
You can clear the choice cookie at any time in your browser settings; the notice may appear again until you choose.

The site may be hosted on third‑party services (for example GitHub Pages or Vercel). Those providers’ own terms and policies apply to how pages are delivered.
The Sleepfactor app
When you use the Sleepfactor mobile app:
- Account data — If you sign up, we store the information needed to run your account (for example email and account identifiers).
- Habit and sleep data — Data you log (habits) and sleep-related data you choose to sync from your device or health apps are stored so we can provide features and insights. This is associated with your account. We do not sell this information or use it for third‑party advertising.
- Health data — Until you sync, sleep and related health data may remain on your device or in your health app. We process only what is needed to deliver the product you see in the app.
- Service providers — We use trusted infrastructure and tools to run the service (for example secure cloud storage and sign‑in, and services that help us fix crashes or understand aggregate usage). They process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.
Depending on your device, the app may request permissions (such as access to health or notification features). Those are used only as needed for the features you use. What we declare to app stores (including Google Play and Apple) should match this policy and our in‑console disclosures.
Deleting your data (Sleepfactor app)
If you have a Sleepfactor account, you can choose how much to remove. You do not have to delete your whole account just to clear stored app data—and you can still delete your account later if you want to leave entirely. Everything below is available while signed in, without emailing us.
Removing tracked data while keeping your account
To wipe sleep and/or habit data we hold for you in the app service, but keep your sign‑in and account:
- Open the Profile tab (bottom of the screen).
- Under Account, tap Account Details.
- Find Delete data, tap Delete data, then choose what to remove and confirm.
You can permanently delete, from our servers: sleep data only (all synced sleep records), habit logs only (all habit tracking data), or all of that logged data at once (sleep records and habit logs). These actions cannot be undone. Your account itself (for example your email and sign‑in) stays unless you separately use delete account below.
Deleting your entire account
To remove your Sleepfactor account and the information we hold for that account in the app service:
- Open the Profile tab.
- Under Account, tap Account Details.
- Scroll to Delete account, tap Delete Account, and confirm when prompted.
This permanently removes your Sleepfactor account from our systems. The app will also sign you out on that device. If you need help (for example you no longer have access to the app or your sign‑in), use the contact options on our app store listing or the channels on our About page.
If you only joined the beta waitlist on this website and do not use the app, email info@sleepfactor.app so we can remove your waitlist entry.
Children
Sleepfactor is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us through the app or app store listing so we can take appropriate steps.
Sharing and security
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data where required by law, or with service providers that help us run the website and app (including hosting, authentication, databases such as Supabase, and operational tools), under confidentiality and data protection terms appropriate to the service.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data (e.g. encryption, access controls). No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your device secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, or to object to processing. In the app you can delete stored sleep and habit data without closing your account, or delete your whole account; see Deleting your data (Sleepfactor app) above. For requests we cannot handle in-app, email info@sleepfactor.app.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be on this page. Continued use of the website or app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
